About
Crossings229 at Midway Hills was launched in April 2022 to enable our campus and grounds to be more accessible to the local community. We are located just north of the intersection of Midway Road and Royal Lane, in the heart of North Dallas and the 75229 zip code.
Crossings229 includes open, multi use spaces for coworking and meetings; classrooms for organizations or small groups; and stunning gardens for photography or reflection. Their facilities boast a newly renovated commercial kitchen and hall with tables and upholstered chairs that can be configured to suit any event needs.
Crossings229 also provides an environment for all who need flex space outside their home. Our building can be a quiet space to record your podcast, work away from the distractions of home, or conduct meetings with colleagues. Our education wing can be used to schedule a yoga class or meditation session or one of our classrooms can be used for tutoring music students or similar studies. Connect with others and meet here with your book club, neighborhood watch, or other organization. Conduct a scout meeting or have a homeschool meetup and teach the kids about nature. There are many ways Crossings229 can meet your needs.
With our renovated hall and attached brand new commercial kitchen, you can host, cook and serve a crowd for your next charity or club dinner. From our classic, striking mid-century architecture to the extensive gardens created and curated by the Dallas Master Gardeners, our grounds offer beautiful backgrounds for photographers and inspiration for artists.
Crossings229 was created to align Midway Hills’ existing building use organizations while innovating with new ideas and projects, to support our evolving community. Our foundation is the existing vision of mission statements of MHCC: We build bridges to transform the future by striving TO BE INCLUSIVE, DO JUSTICE, AND EMBRACE DIVERSITY. Our goals are to be strategic and creative thinkers; build supportive relationships and provide the resources to encourage creativity.
A team of innovators meets regularly to develop additional innovative uses for our Midway Hills campus to interact with and engage with our local community. Future areas of expansion include developing a dedicated podcasting space, launching a limited coffee house/cafe, and creating guided meditation walks through our beautiful grounds.
